She crossed Europe by train to Brussels with her strange companion, aiming to protest for the trouble of humanity. A tender and revealing testimony about eternity, relativity, slowness, and necro-capitalism. In the Athens version, we follow the skeleton of the show on his journey through Europe of acceleration. He confronts the loss of his identity, marriage, revenge and the dead ends of art. This piece is about his days and nights as they are preserved in his three-dimensional diary. It is about all kinds of deadlines and all death lines over time, body and sea.

Theano Metaxa
Well-known in the theatre world as an actress, Theano Metaxa is the artist who was selected while in her initial steps as a theatre maker by MIR and Trouble festival in the framework of the European cooperation programme Time for Live Art to cross Europe by train, travelling from Athens to Brussels and present a performance there. On the way back, we asked to see the work in Athens, at MIR…
Theano Metaxa was born in Switzerland and raised in Crete. She studied theatre at Delos Drama School. She has attended seminars and workshops such as those by Song of the Goat Theatre and BlackSKYwhite Theater at the Grotowski Center in Poland. She has been working as an actress since 2005, participating in productions of independent Greek theatre groups and has collaborated with important directors such as Martha Frintzila, Akilas Karazisis, Georgia Mavragani, Anestis Azas, Argyro Chioti, Yannis Houvardas, etc. She has worked as an assistant director in cinema. Since 2015 she has been directing her own research theatre and performances. As a member of “Baumstrasse” company she co-directed the performances The World History of Insomnia, Three Sisters à Moscou, in Moscow, to Moscow, nach Moskau!, Prötöşelıda and together with Ilias Vogiatzidakis the performance Another Hero. She is working on the use of performance in urban everyday environments.
